The Journey Begins
It started with a restless spirit — a curious soul who wandered the highlands of Scotland, searching not for answers but for meaning. What he discovered was greater than a path, he uncovered a legacy waiting to be distilled.
2012
The Discovery
From ripe pears and red apples in orchard fields to oak casks breathing time into the spirit, VISCOUNT was born. Smooth yet bold, Scarlet Reserve became the first chapter in our story, a whisky that endures long after the glass is set down.
2014
The Creation
In 2020, this vision took root in India. From our registered home in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Scottish Viscount Whiskey (India) Private Limited became the custodian of this legacy, a bridge between Scottish tradition and Indian celebration.
